Information letter on the law on the protection of personal data
The purpose of this information letter is to inform you about the processing of your personal data by our Association, which is the data controller pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“PDPL”).
According to the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“PDPL”), any information that can be used to identify or identify a natural person is considered personal data. Your personal data, including the special personal data you have provided to our Association, are recorded, stored, retained, kept in our systems, classified in accordance with the legal, administrative and the requirements of our Association to achieve the purpose, updated and disclosed/transferred to third parties in the cases permitted by law and within the legal limits and processed in the manner specified in the PDPL.
As you have applied to be a supporter, it is a legal requirement that we transfer your personal data to our association so that we know your capabilities and can contact you. In addition, as long as the legislation in force in Turkey allows, you will be kept on the Federation's communication list in order to inform you about our campaigns, news about disabilities and actions and projects for the rights of people with disabilities.
You have the right to:
• To know whether your personal data is being processed and, if so, to request information about it.
• To know the purpose for which your personal data is being processed and whether it is being used for the purpose for which it was collected.
• Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred inside or outside turkey.
• Request the rectification of your personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurate.
• Request that your personal data be deleted or destroyed in accordance with the law.
• Request that your personal data be disclosed to the third parties to whom it was disclosed.
• Object to the result of an analysis of your personal data carried out exclusively by automated systems.
• Request compensation for the damage caused to you by the unlawful processing of your personal data.
If you contact our organisation in these matters via the channels listed below, your request will be processed within 30 days.
In accordance with the 10th article of the Personal Data Protection Law, I have read, understood and have been informed in detail by Engelsiz Bileşenler Federasyonu, which is the data controller, about the following information regarding the processing of my personal data: who processes my personal data, for what purpose, to whom and for what purposes the processed personal data may be disclosed, how the personal data was collected and on what legal basis, as well as my rights under the 11th article of the Personal Data Protection Law.
